Point being you don’t field a reserve team on the final day if anyway the title is still possible.
If they comfortably beat Soton by 3 or 4 goals they will go into the final day needing a 4/5 goal turn around (assuming we narrowly lose to Man City). Considering they would already by relying on Man City to lose, the would need to beat Wolves by something like 4 goals.
As unlikely as that would be, they would play their strongest team and go all out.
No-one gives a fuck whether or not they do claw it back, we just need a scenario where they can still win it. We play our part in that by restricting Man City today.
Of course, we could just get a point from our final 2 games and make the whole thing irrelevant

Noble can’t or shouldn’t play, sentiment aside he isn’t good enough and against a team who move it as quick as they do it’d be suicidal to play him. Let him have the last 5 mins when we’re 3-0 down.

Noble won't play, unless we're getting batterrd. He's said it himself that he does not need to come on to say his fair wells.
I love the bloke and we can celebrate him after the game's finished and hopefully having secured three points.

The league is all City have to play for. Their backs are up since throwing their CL semi Madrid. They'll absolutely destroy us. If they do, I hope it's like the game at the Emirates in 07 when they bombarded our goal and couldn't score, only this time Coufal is Lucas Neill and Antonio is Bobby Zamora.

Since we beat them at Upton Park in Oct 2014 (2-1 Amalfitano & Sahko) we have drawn 2 & lost 4 at home. Scored 4 conceded 20
There was another 5-0 home FA Cup defeat in that period too.
